Background

The Career Counseling and Guidance Cell of the college functions as a supportive and inclusive platform and provides students comprehensive career guidance and counseling services. The cell is focused to work closely with students to identify their strengths, interests, and career aspirations. Through counseling sessions, group workshops, and industry-specific training programs, the cell equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the job market, pursue further education, or embark on entrepreneurial ventures. The cell also maintains strong connections with alumni, industry partners, and recruitment agencies, ensuring students have access to job opportunities, internships, and networking events.

Objectives

Following are the objectives of the Cell:

• Provide personalized career guidance and counseling to students, helping them explore their interests, skills, and strengths.
• Empower students with knowledge and skills necessary for successful career planning, job search, and professional growth.
• Facilitate student access to career resources, job opportunities, and networking events.
• Track student career outcomes and continuously improve the effectiveness of the career counseling and guidance cell.

Functions

The cell undertakes following function throughout the year in the college:

• Regular career orientation of the students particularly of 3rd Year students
• Collaboration with other agencies for job orientation of the students
• Organize rozgar melas etc.
